want to make a video

Hi,
I know some of you have made videos so I thought I would ask here. I would like to make a video with still pics, some videos, and text for my twin sons with music to it. Does anyone know how I can go about doing that?

try windows movie maker

i made a loveley dvd of alisha with pictures and her hand and footprints  and i put leona lewis song footprints in the sand and its beautiful and i made that of windows movie maker

thanks. I'm trying one true media. that is what I had seen in the past I just couldn't remember the name of it.
