Maybe Ben's tattoo not a good idea afterall :(

 I decided a while ago that i'd like to get a tattoo of Ben's foot on the top of my foot with writing something along the lines of 'my little man walks with me always/every step' etc (writing undecided hehe) but due to going on holiday and being exposed to sun/sea/sand (a week next Fri) i decided to wait until after-in July, so that i can live in flip-flops till it heals too.
 Anyway, i'm hoping to go back to work soon and work with children-which poses 2 problems-i'll probably after cover it up(like most tattoos in workplaces)/and explaining to the children what it is etc (i don't mind covering it/not telling them the truth etc) but just thinking maybe it isn't appropriate afterall.
 It's very hard not to think about this problem without getting sensitive over the reason for it-afterall-ithey always say if you get a tattoo ensure you can cover it up at all times but the whole point is i want everyone to see it! (i guess it links with my wanting to walk the streets with a sandwich board telling everyone about my son 'i had a son' etc)
 Sorry to babble-just disapointed at the thought of not getting it afterall x

Can you get it done before you start work and can wear flip flops to allow healing? You could always wear socks at work and sandals out of work? It seems a shame not to get the tattoo. The kids at my place ask questions about mine and if they saw yours on your foot you could tell them its a special tattoo. Also its not a reaslly visible place so I cant see why your work would have a problem?!
I say get it done :) 
When I can I'm getting Charlotte's footprint on my arm! I want to be able to look at it whenever I want and everyone else can sod off! :P
