im so worried

Health visitor was out yesterday and amy has lost weight, she was 9lb 11 naked last week, this week 9lb 10 with vest and nappy on 

So we have an emergency appointment today to get her tongue tie cut.

I have been doing quite well putting the thoughts of her dying out of my head and getting on with things but now with this set back they have all resurfaced.

I can picture her funeral clearly again. i havent felt like this since she was a few days old. I cant stand feeling like this. I know an ounce doesnt sound much to lose but by now she should be putting on 8-9ozs a week.

I have been told the procedure is very straightforward and she should be fine after but im worrying myself sick.

I just hope Jake is watching over her today.

P.s. The appointment is at the ulster hospital, the worst place in the world it could be for me. gonna be one hell of a day

aww you poor woman mel , amy may will be fine , mel try put them thoughts out of your head , its quite a simple procedure as far as i know and she has he big brother looking after her xxxx

Jake will be by here side try not to worry as you will only make things hard for yourself she will be fine heres a big hug for you and amy  let us know how she gets on.

thankfully i managed to get the appointment changed to 4 oclock, i dont have to go alone craig will be home.

i just want it all over now.

they put some numby gel under her tongue for ten minutes then its just one snip and its all done apparently.

she shouldnt feel a thing but she will struggle to feed while her tongue is numbed so i imagine i'll be in for an interesting night after

That's good that it won't take very long and that she doesn't have to go to sleep for it.

She will be fine and be putting on weight before you know it!

awwww mel i hope all goes well with the appointment, i am thinking of you. it will probably hurt you more than Amy.

Do not worry that she is not eating well enough as they will tube feed her if they are worried, i know you probably hate the thought but it will only be temporary.

Jake will be watching over his little sister and looking after her so try to put those horrible thoughts out of your mind.

we're home, she was weighed again today naked, 9lb 6oz, so she is dropping weight like i dunno what.

her tongue tie has now been snipped so hopefully once she has regained feeling in her tongue she should be looking for a big 9oz bottle 

I was able to stay with her for the numbing part but they sent me away for the actual procedure, when i came back she was all red and tears down her face and i just wanted to punch the doctor and run away 

fingers crossed it will cause some improvement, she will be weighed daily until she has reached 10lb, after that she is back to being treated as any other baby hopefully.

now i have to go to slimming world tonight but im scared to leave her

ironic really that Amy wants to gain weight and mummy lose it.
