I think the idea of spending the day altogether as a family in itself is a lovely thing to do on Ethans anniversary. The zoo that Cheryl suggested seems a nice idea-really 'fitting'. We toyed with the idea of visiting a zoo and sponsering an animal in Ben's name (a giraffe which we assosiate with Ben).
We did the usual letting balloons and glo lanterns off, special flowers for his garden etc. I also made him a personalised card on moonpig.

kim were does cheryl find these thing lol I can bearly manage to type a post and add a hug let alone all this other stuff and

girls by the way I think livvy and ben and a few of the other babes will be joining us at the zoo any way so they will see for themselves , promise not to let the keepers mistake Chrissy (ethan's daddy) for a large monkey and let them keep him lol

seriously thanks for being my life line at the moment ,  they say it's the kindness of strangers that suprises you most and you girls are amazing.

His favorite ted was a giraffe called frank (after the old man that gave it to him ) and he was the first baby at our hospital to use the giraffe incubator  but I called himmy cheeky monkey so you got it spot on really with either , when he used to stress out when I wasn't with him at the hospital the nurses used to say they gave my cheeky monkey his giraffe care (meaning stroking his head with frank the giraffe) it was his own version of kanagoo care . .

I hadn't thought of that in a while and remebering just made me smile so thanks
