My friend wrote this after hearing me and kev had split makes me think

When you angel was here on earth both parents had two wings.
This was so both parents were able to fly alone
The day came when your child had to leave earth and enty heaven so he took one wing from each parent.
This now means that his parents can not fly alone and the only way they can if they join as one and fly as one.
The parents if wanted can try fly alone this will cause more pain as the wing will be heavy to carry.
Your angel will not want to see you both two suffer alone but to join as one and fly as one.
Then happiness will be found sooner
To see you fly alone can cause an angel to cry

Your friend's peom is beautiful and Looking back on the rows my hubby and I have had It makes me also think Ethan wouldn't want us to fight , we share memories of him noone else has , we were both there at his first breathe and his last and we should be nicer to each other...

 whatever happens for you and kev now I wish you both well , hopefully as one but no one else has to wear your shoes or walk your steps ,it's  your choice
