A poem i found

I see small footprints on a beach
Footprints now way out of reach
Footprints that with time would grow
There's no way now i'll ever know

Maybe they tread among blue sky
No one knows the reasons why
Footprints that will make their way
To join with mine sometime someday

Maybe, perhaps then i'll understand
Footprints together made hand in hand
Perhaps those footprints make stars shine
Giving rays of hope to this heart of mine

Maybe one day, nobody knows when
Like you i'll understand, until then
