Stay strong pauline, many babies like Millie have false starts in feeding and my guess is that Millie just got tired and thought sod this. She will try again soon and you never know she might decide actually its alot better than the tube but ultimately you can still go on home tube feeding as Livvy did. (you have to learn to pass tube though but its easy).

The knocks you take in scbu are so hard as just as you think everything is going well and you walk in happy the smallest little thing just throws you but please try to put it into perspective, it may delay Millie coming home by a very short time thats all, she just got tired and lazy.

I dont think you are suffering from pnd as scbu is very emotional and stressful anyway and i think you seem like you have been coping really well. Snapping at Ger is nothing, thats what men are for. lol

You are bound to feel very emotional about David as it would seem to me that many people feel this when they have had a baby after loss but i have never experienced it myself so im sure someone who has will be along soon.

Pauline, Honestly you amaze me, You seem to be coping so well with the rollercoaster you never bought a ticket for.

Parenting after a loss is scary and its heart breaking and its exciting and special. But throw into the mix the fact that millie is in SCBU and it is only going to add to your pressure.

Shout at Ger all you need to, He should understand how difficult this all is for you.

Try not to worry about millie, I know she really wants to get home to you, And she will make it there as fast as she can hun

Thinking of you all

Pauline , I cried at every set back, even if the doctors called it a side step , it was huge to me.

you are doing amazing , Ger sounds to me like he's a top bloke and I'm sure he's big enough to cope with whatever you throw at him , as your strong enough to cope with whatever Millie throws at you,

Millie has extra help in the way of her David looking out for her so keep strong  and she'll be home before you know it ,

you are going through so much it's to be expected that your feelings are up and down.  and your hormones are no  doubt playing tricks too.
stay strong and focus on little millie being home soon and xmas coming for  you all together.

((((((((((((((((((((((Pauline)))))))))))))))))))))) Sounds like its just the emotional rollercoaster of SCBU to be honest and they do have ups and downs in there and with hormones still raging they are hard to cope with. Been tearful many a time in the past 7 weeks when things werent going as I hoped.

Pauline

You are an amazing lady, you have had such a massive amount to cope with in such a short space of time.  You are a special lady and I just wanted to tell you.  You have my number, call me anytime of you need to talk.

Take care and god bless

Aww Pauline... your bound to be feeling all over the place ... waiting for Millie to come home and of course its still early days mourning David.... Take it easy on yourself but if you feel its getting too much and feel it might be PND get it seen to straight away.... And remember you only gave birth a few weeks ago - its all natural !!  kis

Pauline

Just wanted to give you big

When they do first go onto oral feeds they often have to have tube back temporarily, as they just aint used to having to all the work themselves! They had it easy with milk going straight in!

I'm sure its just a tiny little setback, and she will be home in no time

David will be looking out for his mummy and little sister and sending you lots of floaty kisses

Here any time you need me
