Daisy Day - advice please....and an OFB bear!

I know it's over 2months off from Daisy's 1st angel birthday but I want to be organised and plan something special for her. Am still trying to work out exactly what but I know alot will be going on for me around that time so I thought if I planned things now it would feel alot better than her special day being amongst chaois.

Wondered what outers had done?  I have some ideas, going to definately release sky lanterns on the beach in the evening.  I do want to plan to have family and a few special friends around but then I get worried that I might not cope.  How have others mummies felt?

I also had an idea....stolen from Sands if I'm honest (oops!)  My friend uses their forum alot and has just recently recieve their travelling bear which goes from person to person, usually on their birthday or their angels special day. They bear is taken to visit their little ones garden or special place and usual there is an ongoing story of bears journey.  Wondered what you thought about this as an idea as was going to start off this idea for anyone who wants to join in!  Could do a bear poll and vote the bear, have already seen a Jen bear with alot of character.

i'm sure daisys day will be so special-only suggestion i have is other than the things you've said we made ben a personalised card on moonpig. The bear idea is fantastic! It will bring our angels special connection so much closer. It could go to people for any date they associate with their angel or just if someone is feeling extra down and needs reminding we're all here. The bear must be cuddly!

I think it's a great idea Ali  we may need 2 or more bears though as some of our Angels share their special days with other Angels. I am 100% up for the OFB bear idea

oh Jen it's fab, am going to do a bear voting poll in general, I'd happily take responsiblity of the bears comings and goings and will donate the first one from Daisy, can also hopefully donate a second as have some money my friends gave me that needs a good home.....will put the pool up now......

Horray, am so happy you likr the idea.....even if I did knick it!  And a cuddly bear for definate.....pics on there way........
