Firstly a huge thank you for your thoughts and kind words on Amy's birthday. As seems to have been the pattern the lead up was much worse than the actual day itself. Friday was miraculously dry, even got sun for a little while which was lovely because the last thing I wanted to do was hang around the house all day.

Had a lovely day with my family, we went to the grave in the morning and released balloons and then after breakfast went for a long walk along the beach just as we had done last year. I'm not really a big believer in signs but just as I finished writing happy birthday in the sand a perfect white feather landed in it, don't know if it was Amy's way of letting me know she was there but it made me smile all the same. Was nice to take time out with my family, we're normally all soo busy.

Hi Claire

Amy's flowers are so pretty - you did a beautiful job. I feel privileged to have been to Amy's place. Its so tranquil and I love her headstone.

I'm so glad the day itself was ok. You know what I think about signs but I do think there is something in it. Love the idea of writing Happy Birthday in the sand.

One very special and very loved little girl.

Talk to you over the weekend.

Love
