twins headstone is up and im so f**kin mad

twins headstone went up on Friday and i got a phone call to go down as they was fittin it cause he rang me to tell me he had dropped the stone and the ear ad fell of so i went down and had a look and told him i wanted it doing again he said he could cover it up so u wouldn't see it and thats what he was going to do so i waited for matt to have a look and he rang him straight up and told him he need to come down and sort his mess out as when he finished it wasn't just the ear that was wrong the kerb set was not fixed right the the slabs was cracked the end posts was not straight the stones was not covering the ground underneath and u could see all the bolts at the end of the kerb set, when we rang to tell him he said well it cost him more to do the what we paid so he is refusing to come and sort it out so all my hard work to get £2900 up to try and get the best for the twins and having looking really smart for there birthday Mon 8th and Tue 9th sept has gone down the drain, i just feel like ive let them down so much why couldn't i just get this final thing right, ive let Matt down and the twins,

the stoopid bloke who done the damage is the one who needs a talking to. tell him you are going to report him to the local authorities and also you will name and shame him in the local paper if he doesnt sort it out, that should get him moving, if not, then does he have a head office you could report this to?

Hunni you haven't let any one down , and Matt and your twins know that .

I completely agree with Jane , report to him to the   council, will as my friend who works in law  where you stand but these people should have insurance to cover extra costs if they mess it up.

then if you don't get anywhere go to your local paper,  tell him first give him opportunity to sort it quicky but if he still refuses ring the paper.

I know you wont want the publicity but you shouldn't have to pay anymore ,it's not right at all

the sad loss of twin babies, saving like mad for a stone to have it messed by the company suppling they'll eat him alive and ruin his business,

i completely agree with Jane too- tell him in no uncertain terms that he either comes and sorts it out and does the work you have paid him for or you will report him.

your twins love you, you haven't let them down at all.

omg i would report report him anna and i would go to the local paper over him too you saved with blood sweat and tears for it to be perfect and he ruined it he should have to pay not you or matt yyou have been thru enough as it is

after paying £2900 I'd be fuming its not your problem how much it cost as he agreed a price just coz it cost more the fact is his workers broke it in fixing it in place he is responsible for making it good you should be entitled to a full refund or a replacement done correctly same as if you brought something received it and it wasnt as described
