Here's the little skeleton dolly I just finished embroidering, stuffing, and hemming this morning. I have 3 more to do, a yellow one, orange one, and a multi coloured blue one.

It seems a bit of an odd mix - Indian angel and skull & crossbones next to Jesus?  But I'm sure there's a good reason why you've chosen these things and they do look so very colourful all together.

It's not odd at all for an Ofrenda for Day of the Dead. You can google Day of the Dead Altars or Ofrendas or Dia de los Muertos and look at some photos.

The Indian Angel is because Cheyenne and her mom Shawnee are Lakota Indians.

The skull is a 3000 year old tradition with the Dia de los muertos. As is the sugar skull. The candle next to the Jesus candle is a sugar skull on top and a Catrina on the bottom :)

See - I knew there's be a good reason!

Will you be posting a photo when it's finished?  I have to admit I'm intrigued.

yup I'll be posting a bunch of photos since quite a few mamas from here have their angels on the collage that will hang behind the ofrenda.

I'm also going to video tape my altar going up and other people's. Set up is October 6-9
