My beautiful baby girl Lucy xx

« on: October 13, 2008, 05:30:51 PM »

Not sure if this is the right place for this - feel free to move if not ...

Well as the title says Kate has eventually moved back into her own room... She was in her own room when we lost Lucy but at first we moved out of our room into Kates and then when we did move back in I had to have her with me ...

So this weekend we made the break (with tv monitor on in room I must add)- We have been building up to it with Kate as much as she could she has been amazing loves it being a 'big' girl .... It seemed much harder for me than her (or Mick my dh to be honest) as Lucy was still sleeping in our room when we lost her it has been over 3 years since we havent had one of the girls in with us ....

Our bed seems huge !!!

I've been dreading it but knew for Kates sake we had to do it eventually.....Even though i have been up and down quite a bit during the night Its feels like a major step and I am quite positive about it so far...

So we have the next few months to ourselves until bubba comes along next year !!

Sorry not much point to this I know - thanks for listening ....

Love to you all and all our  's

Ali

Ali

Bles Kate  , like you say I think it is harder for you than it is fr the little one.  I am trying to get Oliver into is own bed, he falls asleep in our bed and then I put him in his own bed, he still wakes up during the night and comes in wih Gary and me.  I am so pleased that Kate is back in her own bed in plenty of time for your new arrival.

take care
