It's fast approaching Joshua's operation, I'm so scared and not sure how i will cope on the day, i know it's a simple operation and everyone has told me to try and not worry he will be fine, but i keep thinking what if my ickle man don't wake up and thinking last time i seen one of my baby's with wires all over them and was pooly, was when Kelvin was in special care, I'm scared and i'm finding it hard 2 sleep on a night because of worry and i can't stop checking on Joshua threw the night to make sure he is ok i don't wanna see my baby in pain and don't wanna see him like that, but he has to have this op 2 make him betta and i pray with all my heart that my baby will be ok, i would do anything to make him betta and i wish it was me who had to have the op not my ickle baby i need to get a grip and realise that i'm been silly my little man will be fine, i'm such a worrier

It is normal to worry.  My daughter had major surgery last month and was in theatre for 6 hours.  I had myself convinced she would die as Riley died just after his operation in the same hospital.
However she did really well and is running round now as if nothing had happened.
I hope the surgery goes well for you all and that your son is home with you for cuddles very quickly

Donna Its completly normal to feel like you are. We will always worry about our ickle ones.

When amy-may had her tongue tie cut, she didnt need to be knocked out or anything it was a really really simple procedure but I was convinced something terrible was going to happen.

Needless to say It didnt and its now a distant memory.

I know your gonna worry cause your a mummy and thats what mummies do. Just try and look past his little operation to when you can cuddle and spoil him for being such a brave boy
