Just had to share this with you all.  Lara is always talking about heaven and she seems to think that all babies go there and that everyone has a baby there.  Last night when she was in bed she called me in and said

"Mummy when baby Joel goes to heaven can we get a dog?" 

I had to try not to laugh in front of her.     It just took me so much by surprise.

What on earth goes through their little minds?

Ahh Eleanor, if I didn't know Lara I'd be shocked but having met her it doesn't surprise me what she says!  She is so funny!

Poor Joel is really getting it rough at the moment!  It is lucky he doesn't understand what she is saying.  She now wants to swap him for a baby sister as we have never had a girl baby in our house!   

She is also still on about a dog.  She carries about five stuffed puppies everywhere with her at the moment. She asked me yesterday could she not have a real dog, one with legs and that walks!

Think that Adam is talking to her like she says, as she told my mum and dad this morning that we were going to get a dog when Joel is older.  Me and Mike had talked about that last night and had said we would wait and see when Joel is up a bit!
