A poem for cody

This poem was written by his daddy
children who die are not really gone
but go to a place that is some thing like home
where they sleep a deep sleep as quiet as a stone
until we can join them in a place unknown
children who die are not ready dead
but are just like good children tucked up in bed
waiting the long wait while we go ahead
until our tales are all told and our tears are all shed
people who die feel no pleasure nor pain
in the place where they wait till they see us again
while all of us dance in a world washed with rain
where the sun shines so bright our children remain.
written by my wonderfull soon to be husband
for our little boy cody-jake x
