A poem that I wrote for Brett's 1st birthday Leanne I have obv changed a few words but here it is.........


2 years have passed since you were born
Your mummy???s arms are empty she sits and mourns
You have gone her little joy
You should be here with her little birthday boy
Presents that can???t be opened
Cards she cannot send
A party she couldn???t throw
God put that to an end
You were placed in her arms 2 years ago today
She looked into your sweet blue eyes she loved you in every way
She promised to protect you
But she wasn???t given that chance
Cruelly taken away from her without a second glance
She sits there wondering why oh why?
She thinks of you with so much love that she cannot cry
You were her reason for living a little ray of hope and joy
Until you see her again little Nathan
