I spoke to a parental advisory officer yesterday who attended the boys school and she is putting me in touch with bereavement cousilling for my boys. Conor hasn't been dealing with Brett's death very well these last few months and I think that his daddy having another baby (boy) hasn't helped either cos he is so scared of Max dying too. Nothing I can say to him is helping so this very kind woman is coming out to see me Monday with some conact numbers etc. Joel will be attending too cos altho he doesn't really have the same fears he seems to be at the stage of his grief that Conor was at,at the same age iykwim?

As a mother I want to do everything within my power to make their lives better than it is right now and if that means going to bereavement counsilling so that they get a better relationship with theri brother then that's what I will do. I have to put my own jealousies to one side and put my boys first. I'll let you all know what this woman has to say after Monday xxxxxx

   my son was 9 when caitlin died and i got him bereavement counsilling. it did him the world of good. a lovely lady came to his school and spent time with him.she came every week for a long time and worked with him. he made a scrapbook of how he was feeling etc. i hope your boys get the same results from their counsilling sessions. god love them, it is a very scary and confusing time for them. big  to you also, you are a wonderful mummy

so hope this counselling works for you and your boys hun. i've just started counselling a few weeks ago and after the 1st session i fel a whole lot better being able to tell some i dont know how i really felt.. the 1st time i've had counselling since we lost elise nearly 6 years ago.
