My Little Man Ben 10/05/07-04/06/07

« on: May 09, 2009, 01:16:49 PM »

my mum was talking to an old friend who was passing on her sympathies for ben etc and she told mum that one of her daughters was actually a twin, but unfortunatly her sibling passed away in the womb. She then told mum that out of all of her children her daughter was always the most 'energetic' (nice way to put it lol) and they always joked that she'd absorbed her twins energy. Well, many of you may know, holly is quite an handful! Literally double the work! So just wanted to share this 'theory'. It's lovely to know a part of ben lives on through holly-even the mischeivious part! Lol

chrissy has been teaching erin to say '' ethan did it '' , it's a standing  , slightly weird joke in our house that when you say  erin did you just snatch that toy, throw that ball at the telly ,  jam maddie's fingering the door etc ,

that one day when you can talk she'll say  ''no, ethan did it ''

erin is always being referred to affectionately as double trouble and i like that ,

I feel like yes as hard as it is for the older kids to live without ethan , she has to live with part of her always missing  , ''her  twin''

i love to think that holly is giving  you some of the run around on behalf of her special brother , but not too naughty , just cheeky

I think that this is a lovely theory Kim if I had twins I would find comfort with that. I'm sure that Holly carries a lot of Ben in her hunni and that is a lovely thing xxxxxx

My surviving son certainly supports the theory that he's got the energy his brother should have been burning off! All the bruises, bumps, noise....

best wishes to all,

Gilly

Im certain that a part of our little angels pass to all there brothers and sisters, but even more so with twins. Hopefully Holly will get all the happiness in life meant for both of them
