i've still got both Evan and Dyfan's ashes and have never felt ready or able to scatter them.  at the moment they are in the urn's that we had from the funeral parlour.
have been looking for a while on line about ideas and have come up with cremation jewellery.
tonight i have found this one....

kath i think it's a very personal choice, just like cremation/buriel. I often think i should have had ben cremated to keep a part of him with me so in that sense it's an option X

Kath I think it is a great idea. I've seen those sorts of things before and always thought how perfect that would be. The one you have found is simply stunning - the nicest I have ever seen.

If it were me my only fear would be how I would cope if anything ever happened to it, if it was stolen or lost. A couple of months ago I lost a ring that was made in memory of Hannah and I fell apart. I felt like I had lost her all over again.

I was lucky in that I did get it back but the week or so it was missing was awful.

And that was just a ring that I could have made another one made.

Its a lovely idea.

Just to give you something else to consider - a few months after Adam was born I met a lady who had some of her son's ashes made into two of the most beautiful dichoric (spelt wrong?) pendants that she wore everyday.  The one I saw was stunning and it was her way of carrying part of him with her always.

It was a place in america that did it unfortunately so does take a while to receive.
