Remembered with a smile xxx

« on: July 30, 2009, 09:04:11 PM »

Nicole is 3 now and has been pushing her luck for a few days, so today i had a huge clamp down- i feel like i have done nothing but tell her she is being naughty all day, then in the end i had to take her dinner away from her as she just wouldnt stop being so silly and wouldnt stop when i asked her.

oh man i hate days like today, now she is fast asleep and i have just been up to give her a kiss and am feeling so bad that we had such a horrible day, i hope she is better tomorrow.

don't feel bad-EVERY parent has days like this.

It's hard parenting after a loss as you feel the guilt so much more as we're so grateful to have the children we have with us. Also we can be too soft to compensate on grief-so it's good your clamping down.

You wouldn't be bothered if you didn't care! x

Kerri

Bless you, we all have days like these.  Oliver is 4 1/2 now and at the moment he just won't share (he used to) it takes me all my patience to not shout at him all the time.  Hopefully it will be a phase.

Take care

Dawn xxxx.  kis

bless you,i know exactly what you mean. my youngest gets away with much more than she should simply because i am just so glad she is here safe and well. i hope tomorrow is brighter for you. it probably took more out of you than it did your daughter.  kis
