Erin , why is it every time she smiles , i smile back but inside i weep .................
does she know he's missing , does she miss him as much as me ......................
I always have a house full and i see her playing with friends children, it makes me wonder what it would have been like if he was still here
god i hate awful august

aww marie. There should be two, there SHOULD be two. The joy that Erin brings should be double the joy not tinged with sadness. I wish i could say something to make you feel better, i really do, but sadly i know that it physically hurts your heart to be thinking Ethan SHOULD be here x

sometimes i wish she wasn't such a character, because she makes me smile so much , she is very bossy too ( must get that from auntie kim )
i wonder if she would boss him as much , or if she'd give him a break , she still doesn't say his name just calls him brother

Marie,
I took my surviving son to a soft play place this miserable morning, as did lots of other parents desperate to do soemthing to amuse them, and I met a pair of twin boys having fun. As if it wasn't hard enough seeing an intact pairing, one of the boys kept handing me balls and coming up to me, and I did my very best to smile and talk to him. But it was hard because I should have been watching two boys of my own.
It is hard and the 'if onlys' are always preying on your mind and sanity.

bless you gilly. I wish i had the words to comfort us all but often i fear the 'there should be two's' will get worse with time, not better. First day at school, first nativity etc etc. Marie i'm sure Erin would have been bossing Ethan about!! Lol x

thanks girls , she is driving me crazy today , she keeps chasing the dog , who has just retreated to the safety of my bed where she can sleep without erin laying on her and trying to feed her  tempted to go join my tilly doggy on the bed and hide with her but scared the ''errie monster'' would find us  |
