Another poem I wrote last night

I miss you now
I missed you then
I love you even more
The words I need just won't come out
When I describe losing you
A hot knife in my heart would hurt a lot less
When I think of the day that you died
Did you need my help my son?
Did you cry out and I didn't hear?
Why did I not wake up to you son?
Help you in some small way
Is it God's Will that you had to go?
Was that his plan all along?
Why you tho darling?
My babe in arms such a waste of a beautiful life
You breathed and coo'ed like a normal child
Yet God had plans for you son
He decided that your life on Earth was to be short but didn't think about us
Is it fun in Heaven?
Do you get to play?
Are there rules like mummy would have?
Are you happy and free?
Just like I want you to be?
So many questions I know
I'm your mummy it's my right
Surely that's all I have now
Questions running around in my head
What do you look like now?
Have you grown at all?
I love you so much and wished you could have stayed
I didn't get much choice
Watch over us now
Keep your brother's safe from harm
Come down and see us whenever you can
A small sign that you are happy is enough
My love for you will never die out
It's an ever burning flame
Buried deep in my heart safe from harm
With our memories of your sweet little life
So until we meet again my son
Play on in the garden of Heaven
With the Angel babies who have joined you since
And the ones there before you arrived
Sweet dreams precious child sleep tight
Don't let those cloud bugs bite
