Our Beautiful Daisy

WWW
« on: December 24, 2009, 11:19:03 PM »

I'm missing Daisy so much, I know we are all hurting.  Christmas is such a bitter sweet time.  It's so difficult not to feel an overcast of sadness on the day.  I get to spend Christmas with my parents and siblings for the first time in over 11 years but it means a Christmas without being able to visit Daisy's resting place and personally place her little gifts.  I have to keep smiling, for Seth and for sanity.

I bought Seth a book, the Christmas Eve Angel, and had a tear as I read it, because Santa's angel was called Pip, we called both Daisy and Seth our little Pip in pregnancy, Daisy was almost called Pippa!  How fitting was the book, she's here with us at Christmas in her own little way.  Just wish it was so different.  For each and every one of us.

So sending big Christmas kisses to Heaven to my beautiful girl, and too all our forever babies.  They shall be wrapped warm in love up there.  Hoping the day goes as gently can be on you all.  Much love and Merry Christmas

love Alison

Bless you Ali, you are so right about this time of year the "if only" and "what if" time that hurts for me more more than usual.  Your beautiful Daisy knows just how much she is loved and missed by you

Hope that Christmas is as gentle as it can be for you.  Love to you all as always.

Take care
