« on: January 03, 2010, 12:01:19 AM »

erin will be three ( omg can't believe where the time has gone ) in just 5 days , I can't bring myself to go shopping for her presents it just bring s it hope I'm only buying for her instead of the both , people keep asking if I'm giving her a party on the day but i just can't face  it , chris is going to work on the day because we need the money , and erin has nursery in the morning so I could visit ethan's garden on my own  for the first time in ages , a good friend has offered to come with me if I don't want to go on my own . still not sure , this years means I'll have a few hours in the day to cry  without bottling it all up til the kids are in bed and now I'm scared if I start crying early on in the day I'll not be able to stop ,
chris said to keep erin off nursery but  I can't always do that can I

Marie, you do whatever you need to do, and if that means keeping Erin off so be it, but personally i, well, 'like' is the wrong word-but think the idea of sending Erin to nursery and going for a bloody good cry at Ethan's garden is what i'd do. That way you can spend the afternoon with Erin and in the nearest way that we can 'spend time' with both Ethan and Erin.

It's so hard Marie, grieving AND celebrating on the same day
