Hi all - I'm Miranda
Whilst I'm so sorry to read about everyone's sad stories - and my heart goes out to you all - its comforting to find people who really understand what me and my husband James are going through.....
We lost our twin baby boys - Sam and Ben - at 22 weeks on 20 April this year. Still so sad and miss them dreadfully...
My waters broke at 19w, 3d and I was in hospital for nearly 3 weeks until a nasty infection took hold... sadly I got really ill really quickly and the decision was taken out of our hands. We had no choice but to end the pregnancy. The boys were both born sleeping a few hours later.
Our due date was last week and we went back to Holkham Beach in Norfolk, where we'd scattered their ashes. It was a sad day, but also a day to feel really close to our boys again.
I'm now considering getting a tattoo done or finding an item of jewellery which keeps them close to me. Any ideas are welcome....

Hi Miranda, welcome to ourforeverbabies, i'm so sorry to hear about Sam and Ben, i lost my son, he is called Ben too. I have a tattoo of Ben's actual footprint on the top of my foot, it symbolises that he is with me every step, always will be. Alot of people have beautiful memorial tattoos, jewellary too, there is a section called memorial ideas and suggestions that you may find helpful. I hope you find the same comfort, support and friendship as i have on here X

hi miranda and james. a very sad but warm  to ofb. i am really sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful boys. my little girl was stillborn at 28wks. i have 2 necklaces with her photo,name, date of birth etc on it that i got off an ebay shop. her photograph is actually stamped into the gold and silver. i know lots of ladies and gents here have got tattoos. it is a beautiful idea.  |

Miranda. Im sorry you lost your boys  I hope this site helps you as much as it has me. I have a tattoo for my daughter Belle which is a pink star and a poem her daddy wrote for her funeral

thanks for your lovely welcomes and supportive words.... just been to see my counsellor and she has got me signed off work for 2-4 weeks, so you'll probably hear a lot more from me! can't decide on a tattoo so thinking about making an item of jewellery instead - i'm not that good with my hands so it may take a few tries but i''ll see how i go!

Sorry for the loss of your beautiful little boys, I had a tattoo of baby feet put on me with wings beside it and under neath wrote in god's hands 2006.
It is a nice little reminder that she will never be forgotten
