Hello,
As some of you may know i lost my son Alfie in december 2009 aged 5 weeks due to SIDs, It is coming up to Alfies 1st birthday and i want to do something special, myself, family and friends often do balloon releases and lanter releases, so looking to do something different?
Any ideas would be much appriciated!
Thanks
xx

A special day out somewhere? As a family? Have you a special place associated with Alfie? Somewhere he went? Or you could make one that you return to yearly to reflect and remember Alfie? The coast? The zoo, a family meal? Or something for charity/sponsered? Whatever you do to mark Alfies 1st birthday, however big or small, he'll be in your heart. My biggest advice? The build up is often harder than the day itself. I just wish things were so, so different for you and that it was a party you was planning x
