Thank you, ladies, for taking the trouble to acknowledge my precious little boy. It's four years since he was born, but I miss him as much today as I did last year, or the year before, or the year we said goodbye to him.

An hour ago I was putting flowers down on his grave in the pouring rain at the time he was born, and I just wanted to scream from the bottom of my lungs. I wish there was somewhere I could go to let out all the anguish I feel, even though I doubt it would make any difference. Nothing will ever make the pain go away.

It is touching to see his name in clouds on this site because he meant the world to me and always will.

No need to be sorry, Kim. Thanks for posting - and, yes, life is desperately unfair and at times unbearably painful.

On a positive note - many congratulations on getting engaged and best of luck with all the preparations. If you want to remember Ben in your bouquet, I'd recommend that you include some rosemary as it's the herb of remembrance and love. It comes in lots of varieties with white and pink flowers as well as its more traditional blue, which ranges from pale to dark. Obviously you can get it from most nurseries, but given the significance of the day I'd recommend you buy some from a specialist nursery who can advise you which plant to order to flower at the right time and probably get it for you just before the wedding. Drop me a line if you're interested and I'll send you a link to a nursery with lots of plants to choose from. (I need to get more as my plant is looking very forlorn after this winter and I use it a lot for Guy's grave.)
