Hello everyone,
My name is Daniel and i am from Devon, i lost my son William Thomas Powell november 2008. He was bron with severe congenital heart defects and was treated in Bristol Childrens hospital.
I seem to have one week when i am ok, but then spend 3 weeks all over the place and being haunted by bad memories. Dunno what else to say really than get in touch if you wanna chat or share stories x

A sad but very warm welcome to OFB, I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Son William.  I lost my baby to a M/C and I have found OFB a great comfort and support to me on my good and bad days.  Looking forwad to getting to know you and William better when you ar eready.

Hi Daniel,

I am so sorry to hear of the sad loss of your son William.

My names's Kim and i lost my son Ben to a congenital heart problem too, he was treated in Leeds General Infirmary.
(our story is in the stories section on the top of the page under kim, ben and holly's story)

I can totally relate to you having good and bad weeks which is why i've found ourforeverbabies so helpful. Even though i truly wish you had no reason to use this site, i am glad you have found it, even if it just helps you through one of those many bad weeks.

I love being able to talk about Ben on here, and share my memories about him with people who don't look at me awkwardly or well up. It makes Ben feel real and not just a memory that i question if it was a dream.

So anytime you want to chat there are many of us on here who truly understand, but at the same time don't feel you after, you use the site in whichever way helps you and only talk about what you want to talk about and when you want to talk about it.
