1st time for 8 months

Tonight is the first time in 8 months my daughter who i 2 in 3 weeks has gone to sleep in her bed
I lost Aiden in July last year and i think she knew something was going on as she wouldn't sleep in her own bed, she would go to sleep in her buggie then we would carry her up to her bed, but it would only last a few hrs till she was through with us. This was a real shame for her as she had been a perfect child at going to bed and sleeping all night. For the past few months she started sleeping through but still had to go to bed in the buggie, 3 nights ago i thought i would try the whole bed time story in bed routine again and for the 1st 2 nights she was upset and got a cuddle but fell asleep on my knee so was put in her bed from there, so tonight it was story in bed and she just cuddled up to her Quacky - smelly duck! and went to sleep(it took 25 Min's)
I am over the moon!!!!!
i really hope this is the start of something new!!!

She did it again tonight, there is always a but!
BUT she woke at 2am and was still expecting me to be sitting there!! so I'm hoping that was just a blip!
I am so pleased she did it again tonight, now i need to make myself do it every night and not get lazy and put her in the buggie for a quick bedtime!
We now have 4 successful nights under our belt!!
Thanx girls x
