Keaton my one and only son xxxx

Hi All

I have not quite made it here yet but I thought that this would be the most appropriate place for this post. I have purchased a baby sleeping bag to use for Kendra when she arrives but I have never used one before. I thought it would save me paniking whether the covers were tucked in securely enough or whether she was going to kick them up over her head.

The bag is lovely, soft, snuggly, lightweight and is supported by FSID's. My concern is that it is so long. There are press studs under the arms to make sure that it is secure and that she cannot wriggle down inside it but if I am placing her feet to the foot of her crib what do I do with the excess sleeping bag?

Any advice / comments / suggestions gratefully received.

Many thanks

There are some for sale that are for two length sizes and they use little ribbons or push buttons at the bottom, it folds back and gets tied like that or buttoned and when baby is taller you undo the ties and use it long. Might be an option to find a way of putting it up.

I just folded it under.

Thank you all for responding. It seems that you have all got on ok by just tucking it under the baby so I will probably give that a try to start with and see how we get on.

 kis Thanks
